If people could log back after being kicked, that almost confirms it. You'd most likely reconnect through whichever proxy servers are still up. If I am correct, this is not new. Your own alliance obviously knew about it.

The fact though, is that some of you rely on the imprecise downtime mechanic to marginalize your capital losses consistently. This time you got burned, but it doesn't even make up for all the ships you would have lost if you had to create your own exit strategy like everyone else.

nync is supposed to be old and experienced enough to know the risks. If he made the decision to rely on the server to save his fleet - and it didn't - he should take responsibility for defeat then move on to the next battle. Implying foul play atop a high horse with gimp legs is so 2007.
